The hotel offer of Dubai, as the city itself, is increasing rapidly year after year. Wt the end of 2008, there were 340 hotels in Dubai, of which 48 were five stars and 52 were four stars. The number of rooms was more than 35.000.

In Dubai there are two clearly differentiated zones: Deira/Bur Dubai and Jumeirah. In the first one, you can find most of the hotels centers which are very close to the malls and the shopping area and Dubai Creek, a very vivacious zone. Jumeirah is not very busy and is more advisable for those who are looking for a stay of relaxation, beach and activities. Jumeirah is a more expensive and more luxurious zone.

Let‘s be honest: with its scheduled flights and its luxury hotels, Dubai is not really a destination for rebel backpackers. Moreover, the tour operators’ specialists of cheap holidays do not schedule Dubai in their brochures. But, depending on the time of the year, it is possible to travel sly. For example, in July, a room in one 5* Hotel cost twice cheaper that the same in October and the certain hotels offer even half a pension. Yes but from June till September the mercury never falls below 36°C and in July / August, it seems that sometimes it makes it to 45°C. No panic! Here everything (hotels, restaurants, stores, shopping centers, museums, banks, transportation) is air-conditioned (moreover you will even happen to be cold). Small wool with 40°C, Dubai is also that! And swimming pools are cooled.
Choose a flight or a hotel at the best price, by doing a little research when planning your trip. In some years, Dubai was converted into the country of the thousand and one nights, with some impressive constructions as the Hotel Burj al-Arab and its 202 suites or Palm Islands, these artificial islands built in Persian Gulf to shelter luxurious residences and luxurious hotels.
